We completed a collaborative activity following a discussion about the image of the Church. The Image shared shows that the Church is more than a building. It is the PEOPLE!

3	Paint 3 popsicle sticks and one peg white.After it dries paint any colour then glue 2 popsicle on the end of the peg.Cut the tips of another stick then glue it on the end tip of the peg.Use one the tips that were cut off and add on top of end popsicle to make a aeroplane. Clown Story

“Hurry up Jane” Yelled Kimmy. “Coming” came the reply.Jane and Kimmy were on there way to the movies to watch the New Horror movie “The Killer Clown”.Jane wasn’t a big  fan of clowns no matter what they did.

Once they got to the movies Kimmy squealed with excitement.As they sat down the lights turned off one by one, then the movie started.During the movie Jane shivered with fear and jumped up spilling all her popcorn on the floor.Once Kimmy and Jane left the movies a man at the front gate was giving out free clown dolls because it was part of the movie deal.

It was night and the girls were holding there clowns with a tight grip while talking about the movie.Once they got home Jane went to her room, she threw the clown on the floor near the window. Jumped into bed and almost immediately, fell asleep. While Jane was fast asleep she did not notice what was happening around her.A loud slam woke her up.It was the window.  She leapt out of he bed and ran to shut it quickly.As she walked over to her bed, a  strange sensation crept over her. Placing her hand on the edge of her bed when she reached it,  she sat down and immediately realised that something that was under her covers.She pulled the covers over and there  with a big frown on his face,sat the clown doll.

Her scream was loud,  it seemed to bounce off the bedroom walls and be magnified!  Kimmy came rushing to her room door. Clutching the door knob she found it was locked.  Kimmy screamed  to Jane but silence was all she heard. Jane was gone.  With all her strength Kimmy finally got into the room to find only the wide eyed, Clown Doll Smiling.

Today my group focused on designing our product.At first we used pegs to put the frame together but then we came up with the idea of just using blue tack (for the design).

Kidprenuer - Ready...What Will Be My Special Logo?

These are four business logo's: Facebook,YouTube,Instagram and Google.

Our Group Logo

This logo represents parts of our names.VA= Vanni and the A = Agnes.The LI = Lio (short for Kolio) and the D = Dehnyse.Dehnyse and I came up with a few other names but ended up picking VALID.Then we came up with a few design ideas and show Kolio. Kolio then came up with a design.Then as a group we change it a bit by making borders.

A Dog Ate My Homework!

On this bright Friday morning I was walking confidentially because I was holding my homework.I spent hours on it all weekend.

Then I heard what I thought was my stomach but it was a very low growl.....

Oh no I said as my head turned slowly around.It was Clifford the most hated dog in the neighbourhood staring at my homework.I took a deep breathe in then ran as fast as I could.As I turned around the corner I tripped on a root.I thought it was raining but it was Clifford he was drooling on me I screamed.In fright he grabbed my homework and ripped it to shreds.While he sprinted away I picked up a piece of my homework that was left and  I swore that I would get that dog and give it to the SPCA.

While I was walking to school my friend also was caught by Clifford so we went to the teacher and told the truth.1 week of detention, obviously she did not believe that "The Dog Ate My Homework"

I woke up with a fright my name echoed  in the hallway. My dad was calling me.I stood up  and tried to walk but it was like walking on a beam , trying to keep my balance.As I walked in the dark hallway I heard cutlery clinging  together.My parents were making sandwiches for are picnic in at Lake Karapio in Cambridge.

While we were on our way to Cambridge my sister fell to sleep then woke up at a petrol station in Cambridge.My dad bought some pies and hot chocolate for us.It took us around 2 hrs for the drive there .But we still had another 15 minutes drive to the lake.

Once we got there we looked for the Sacred Heart Tent.We put our chairs out and sat with a relief.Benjamin (my brother) came 1st in his race and Joseph (brother) 2nd and 3rd place on their Friday races.A few minutes went past and my sister and I were getting bored so we went to a hill and drank juice while listening to some drop the bass songs.We talked about the colleges that were there and what people were doing.But across the fields we saw our dad looking for us so we shouted to him so that he could notice us.Then he waved back.There  was a beach volley ball court behind us filled with sand so we decided to run and play with the sand and take some photos.

My sister and I got hungry,  so we raced back to our mum and dad and asked for some fish and egg sandwiches (separate).They were divine! After eating a few sandwiches one of it was time for another race. Benjamin’s race was on. It was close but he ended up coming in 4th place.It was alright they tried there best.

Moments later it was Joseph’s race.He was with 7 other crew members but sadly they came in 5th place.There were a lot of disappointed face roaming around the Sacred Heart Tent.My sister and I got bored again so we played cards,chased each other and laughed about things that weren't funny.We ate some more sandwiches and drank some coca cola.

One more race.As they started the  commentator  was shouting through he loud speaker like there was no tomorrow.But the race was close but everyone was happy the boys came in 3rd place in their under 15 years final.

We packed up our things and  drove out of Cambridge with our heads held high. We all stayed awake singing Sole Mio songs not noticing the trip was long.Once we came back we headed for Carl's Junior in Otahuhu. After our feast we headed home and thanked God for protecting us as we traveled safely without any trouble.I laid in bed thinking about what could be in stall for me the next day.

Cats Explanation

Cats

Cats are amazing animals.They could be pets,friends or even family.

In Egypt they used to praise cats for their skill at  catching  snakes and other annoying pests.There was also a goddess who had a cat head but was replaced by a gold cat statue.But in nowadays cats are good at being miraculous pets.

Cats  are either called house cats or domestic cats but they are still the same. They are carnivores but they do not eat  mice but catch them for the fun of it.They mostly eat meat/fish but  love milk.Cats mostly live in houses with their owner.They can live up to 15 years and they also have 9 lives. The fact that they are playful might be the reason that cat owners love them.

So cats aren't everyone's favorite but overall they are just astonishing creations.

How do people express their feelings?

Everyone has a unique way of showing their feelings.

Happiness is shown by smiling and saying polite words.This creates laughter,hugs and friendship. People express their happiness through their body language and facial expressions.  Most often this is seen As in jumping,skipping and hi-fi’s. When they smile and be hyper you know they are HAPPY.

Anger is a feeling most can’t control..  facial  expressions say it all..  Obvious signs are When they scrunch their face and sometimes turn red.This may cause inappropriate language, hatred, and fights.This becomes an attitude which most people don't like and may break a good friend  relationship.

Sadness is a feeling everyone has experienced.Either because of a family lost or just been hurt.People express this feeling by using their body language,speech and facial expressions.Most people turn pale or cry.They would also seem down and talk with hiccups or a little soft voice.For most people they prefer to be alone.

The way people express their feelings are all unique so we should all respect that.  

Euphrasie Barbier

Euphrasie Barbier was born on the 4th of January 1829.In the year 1848 she started the Mission Sisters.

Throughout her life she always stayed humble and true to God.She was determined to take the challenges that were in her way.Her love of God was strong.She also was loyal to her companions (Mission Sisters).Helping others with respect.She helped the people who needed help and stood up for her self.

Her wisdom was carried on to  her companion which gave them the strength to carry on the mission charism.

I am Back!!

Hi I’m back from the best holiday and it time for a fresh new start.This is my last year at Saint Patrick's school so join me by reading my post.I will be posting my learning and exciting new things.I can't wait to start posting.
